From Priesthood to Engineering: A talk by Franklin Schutz 2pm 24 Mar 20

An interesting talk - full of interesting anecdotes, based on Franklin Shutz's life experiences. 

A former alumnus at Ushaw College, who worked initially as a Roman Catholic priest in various parishes in Yorkshire, and then in the slums of Lima in Peru.
After returning from South America, he made the difficult decision to leave the parochial priesthood, and continued his working career in various engineering and construction roles. More recently employed as a facilitator for professional people, a fundraiser for specialist schools, and a language coach. In 2019 he celebrated his 50th ordination anniversary.

This talk will take place in the Francis Thompson Room and will include a cream Tea £5 per person.
